“THE ROUND TABLE. A MOMENT OF TRANSITION.” A single-piece exhibition.
We invite visitors to experience our exhibition “GERO. HELLMUTH. AGAINST OBLIVION”. The exhibition “Gero. Hellmuth. Against Oblivion”, presented at the Polish History Museum, is not an attempt to reconstruct history, but rather a profound reflection on trauma, memory, and the ethical duty to preserve it.
◊ The exhibition is available in Polish and English. Entrance free!
“THE ROUND TABLE. A MOMENT OF TRANSITION.” A single-piece exhibition.
from 13/02/2026 yr. to 17/05/2026 yr.
The exhibition invites visitors into a symbolic cave—a space of silence, reflection, and dialogue. It is here that diverse voices resonate, forming a polyphony of experiences of Poland’s political transformation. The Round Table becomes a sign of courage, compromise, and responsibility—an attempt to stitch together a torn history. The exhibition at the Polish History Museum does not provide ready-made answers; instead, it opens a space for shared reflection on how to write the next chapters of our democracy. The Round Table is being presented to a wide public for the first time in many years.
◊ The exhibition is available in Polish and English. Entrance free!
♦ The observation deck is currently unavailable. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Enjoy the park at the Citadel and Warsaw’s panorama seen from the rooftop viewing terrace of the Polish History Museum (free admission in the Museum's working hours).
The Museum library is open from Wednesday to Friday between 10:00 and 17:00 hours.
◊ Selected Saturdays and Sundays: 10:00 and 16:00 hours (in March 2026, the Library will be open on 7, 8, 15 and 21)
Guests of the Polish History Museum are welcome to our Bistro (open Wednesday-Sunday during the Museum's working hours).
The Museum’s permanent exhibition showcasing 1,000 years of Polish history is currently under construction and will open for visitors as of 2027. Until then, only temporary exhibitions are available.
◊ The exhibition is available in Polish and English. Entrance free!
