A rosette from a formerly Cistercian church in Kołbacz is one of the most beautiful examples of medieval brick decoration in Poland. It will feature in the PHM’s permanent exhibition as material testimony to the time when Duke Bolesław II Wrymouth controlled Western Pomerania. The pattern of the ornament evokes famous rose windows adorning cathedrals in northern France.
